The Woman Warrior

This was a project for my Typography I class. I had to redesign a book jacket. The book jacket I decided to redesign is The Woman Warrior: Memoirs of a Girlhood Among Ghost. I decided to illustrate the two women because the book is told in 5 different characters. On the left is the mythical female warrior and on the right is Moon Orchid: Kingston's aunt. Since every chapter contains different stories then I want the reader to see one character in the front and when they flip the book, there is another illustration of another character.
